Hi guys,
Thank you for all your reply. I live in a small country called Malaysia and there is only one supplier for Focal. So I don't have a choice and could only listen to the sopra no 1 which is the only sopra they have for demo. The session was only 1 hour because i didn't had time. I know it won't sound exactly like the no2 but I just want to hear the similarities. They are using esoteric entry level CD player with FM acoustics solid state amp. I was impressed by how clean the sound is at high volume. The imaging was average to my taste as the Olympica lll are more immersive when listening to Here but I'm gone by Vanessa Fernandez.
I don't blame the no1 but I suspect is the FM acoustics amp. I think the sopras will sound better with tube amps but this is base on personal taste. Some might disagree.

To cut the story short I have a strong believe on the sopra no2 so I took the risk and ordered one but is going to take 1 to 2 months to arrive. Base on many reviews I've read I think I will be satisfied. I'm very excited......

For what it's worth - I moved from the Sopra 1 to the Sopra 2. I have no regrets. Just wonderful.

Sorry for the late reply. Just got delivery of the no.2's a few days ago and breaking it in for about 24 hrs and I'm already impressed. The highs is just amazing, very airy compared to the O3's which was a bit dark. The mids are getting immersive but judging to soon. Will give a review once broken in about 500hrs. Tks for your reply lordemsworth.
