Default FS: Sonus Faber Guarneri Memento

No Longer For Sale:

Mint condition pair Sonus Faber Guarneri Memento . I’m the original owner purchased from a dealer. These are in like new condition with bases, stands, and all factory boxes. One of the best looking and sounding monitors ever made. I also have my Sonus Faber Elipsa for sale. I will only keep one pair of these great speakers. I’m letting fate decide which ones.

Price $ 7499.

GLWS. I have these and absolutely love them.

Only thing that has enticed me to upgrade would be getting a pair of Il Cremonese [emoji41]

That price is also so nice!!!!

Thanks, these may end up down in Naples if nobody grabs them. I think these speakers , the Amati and Strads are the defining work of Sonus Faber Founder and head engineer/designer Franco Serblin. Like Dave Wilson , both built great speakers . Franco is the Ferrari of the speaker world, he unfortunately passed. He built beautiful and exciting speakers that broke the mold sort of speak of box speakers. He is gone leaving theses pieces as his legacy. I guess I am a little nostalgic as my Strads (another of his masterpiece triad collection) are being delivered today. I don’t care for the new designs of Sonus Faber, multiple small drivers, seems like they are just coming out with new designs for the sake of change rather than refining something great like Porsche continues to do with the 911. In short theses speakers are irreplaceable

Sorry nobody took advantage of my weakness in posting these for sale . I have reconsidered and decided I’m keeping them .

Right decision David. Wish I could have taken the GMs, but more important outlays are trumping them.

David.......I have to say, thinking about your Guarneri Memento's caused lust in my heart to own these speakers once again. I truly enjoyed the pair I owned.

Will the GM's remain in the theater or go to Naples?

It all depends on if someone buys the Elipsa. I’ll know within a few days.
