Marantz Vintage Receivers
This has to be one of the most beautiful receivers around...bar none
 These don't belong to me but I know of one member here that owns both. Do I want one...yes....Do I need one...no  Marantz 19     Don't like the 19? How about the 18? Marantz 18

'cisco.......Beautiful Marantz receivers, for sure. The Model Nineteen has it hands down over the Model Eighteen, IMO.

The model 19 is a beauty for sure. I ALMOST owned one....I won a bid for one on eBay and no sooner did I pay for it the guy tells me the right channel blew, and he was refunding my money.
 When I was about 13 years old I used to drool over the model 19 at Audio Service/Stereoland in Binghamton, NY. It was rated at 50 watts/channel and retailed at $1000. That was BIG money for a receiver in those days-around 1973. I love the model 19 and would still like to have one. Pete

Those are beautiful. Are they made in the USA by Marantz before it was sold to Superscope? It looks like they predate my 2240 receiver that I had in the 70s. Of course it was made in Japan. Beautiful classics and thanks for the pictures.
Sometimes I still drool over a restored Marantz 2325 receiver.

I must be foolish... I only have a receiver and now I want an all-Marantz system, the one I could never afford as a kid. There's something about that blue glow that sets something off inside me. Give me silver over black plastic anyday.
