Very pleasant listen. Was in the mood for some vibraphone after the wonderful vocals of Nancy Wilson.

Sometimes I wonder if there is a "right" and a "wrong" sequence/order in which music should be indulged in? Is it like food with a three or more courses with specific order?

Don't know but my inner music lover tells me what to play next

In any case, this hit the spot!

Some great vibraphone tunes here. Lionel Hampton is an awesome vibraphonist.

Released 1975
Recorded May 28, 1974 at Rosenberg Studie in Copenhagen, Denmark
Genre Jazz
Length 46:03
Label SteepleChase
SCS 1029
Producer Nils Winther

"Giant Steps" (John Coltrane) - 6:31
"Theme for Ernie" (Fred Lacey) - 7:14
"Body and Soul" (Frank Eyton, Johnny Green, Edward Heyman, Robert Sour) - 12:22
"Solar" (Miles Davis) - 7:00
"I Remember Clifford" (Benny Golson) - 8:26
"Hot House" (Tadd Dameron) - 7:00

The great Spanish pianist Tete Montoliu has recorded many rewarding sessions for SteepleChase. This trio outing (with bassist Niels Pedersen and drummer Albert "Tootie" Heath) is a typically excellent date. In addition to the lesser-known "Theme for Ernie," Montoliu performs five well-known jazz standards in his own modern jazz style, combining together aspects of Bud Powell, McCoy Tyner and Bill Evans.

And then we enjoyed this one during dinner.
Serge, you post jazzmen I used to listen to like 30-35 years ago, and I like that!
