Default HR085 remote and hack for tray eject

is there one?...anyone tried this idea ?

this remote has only basic functions to operate a sacd player...the actual remote for the sacd player does not have the eject button either...
I know...still have to walk up and place the sacd in a tray...but nevertheless, most of other brand players have it..

I find that quite an annoyance with my MCD 301.

I see it as a safety feature of sorts - not accidentally opening the tray with a blind push of a button and possibly someone running up against it while walking by.

That never even occurred to me, I've never used my MCD500 remote and as long as I can remember I've just used the front panel eject button on al my CDPs and DVD/blu-ray players.

Purrrfect!

I looked at all the McIntosh remote database info I have and can't find a tray eject remote function in any of it. Maybe you can get good with a Nerf Gun.

sure it never occurred to you, because I bet you you lost the remote the next day you got your unit...its laying down in the crack of your couch...go ahead, have a look....I am sure you will also find 73 cents in change...
