WOW !!!

with out question one of the best ever, big congrats to John Force Racing and their amazing charge through the countdown.

As for Pro-Stock, right down to the final pass !

I know we only have a handful of drag racing fans here but for those few, you had to love the drama with this one !

To me the appeal is that it is one sport that we can participate in, if we choose to, without the physical limitations of being "an athlete". If you get what I'm tying to say.

The reaction time of the driver is key to success.The best part about drag racing is that even though you are all very competitive you still help the other guy make the next round,loan parts, fix problem etc.Even if you are running against each other in the next round. Jon Force gives away alot of stuff every year to smaller teams because he wants to keep the class healthy and competitive. The fans can walk around in the Pits too. Watch the pit crews thrashing between rounds,meet the drivers etc.

Yup. Love when nitro engines are barked in the pits. Fun to wTch everyone step back about ten feet and cover their mouth and nose. Nothing like that green mist ! LOL. I miss going. Have not been to the finals in years. My wife loves the races too. Perhaps next year. Winternationals not that far off either.
