It’s still under investigation it seems.

As to distracted driving, it’s a sad reality that more and more drivers are texting and doing god knows what else with their smartphones while driving. It pisses me off to no end to see a vehicle on a highway doing 70 mph and constantly looking down at their phone or trying to text! All it takes is a split second distraction and innocent lives are lost at the hand of irresponsible drivers who should be criminally prosecuted for doing so. It’s no different than driving under the influence, perhaps even worse! Laws need to be be a lot more firm on this.

It's been awhile since I saw the stat but I believe it said texting is 20x more deadly than DWI because drunks are still looking ahead most of the time.
