I do have a legitimate trade -- 2006 BMW K1200GT in like new, garaged condition. Doesn't mean a lot being 11 years old -- but a nice cruiser and touring bike for someone wanting to jump up to a well cornering, 152 HP smoothe ride.

Yeah I was just kidding Bob.

I have not ridden the new Goldwing but took at least 3 different generations of the Goldwings out for a nice cruise. I also got interested in the BMW touring bikes some time ago but ultimately I bought a lighter R1200R because I don't tour much on motorcycles. When I want to ride, I seek out the twisties and it is always a 3-6 hr ride at most. Still could not contain my curiosity and went through a Harley phase.

Both the Goldwing and the K series BMW are outstanding machines. Awaiting your impressions if you decide to test ride or buy. Good luck.
