I agree. The sound signatures are key, and I love the D'Agostino Momentum sound.

One more Momentum might be do-able now, but 2X more will have to wait until I get rid of some of the surplus speakers around here!

Mind you 500 is plenty IMO
Thank you. Did I sound excited? Me?

An S250 is 250 watts per channel into 8 ohms. 500 watts per channel into 4 ohms, which is what the Aidas are.

So a second S250 is another potential 500 watts per channel.

Hey, I'm just using "Ivan Math" -- 350+350+350=1050, aka Bliss!

Thank you. I'm finding myself wandering through the living room just for an excuse to look at the Aidas.

If I sit down "just to listen for a few minutes", it's all over -- hours go by before I can tear myself away.

I'm sorry but it doesn't quite work that way and your effective maximum power will be little more than using a single 350 w amplifier - that is assuming you come close to using all 350 watts. A great deal of normal listening occurs at 10 watts of less (depending on speaker sensitivity, distance to listening position, desired loudness etc).

Eric... it does not work that way at all. Even bi/amping and tri-amping in the passive domain makes a Huge difference.

I have personal experience doing this for twenty plus years now. Not only is there a difference, but it is profound.

This has been confirmed not only by my ears, experts in the industry, and instruments as well.
