Dan,
Those are great pictures of the Kappa 9. As I've mentioned before, I had a semester off school and sold stereo gear in the audio cave of a midwestern appliance chain in '83. Those Kappa 9's look a lot like the big brother of the RSIII's we sold (that was the top of the Infinity line my store sold). The RS4s I bought then and still have upstairs don't look dated and still sound great, having been refoamed.

Mark, welcome to AA - I'm sure David's filled you in on all the lunacy here (like how a cable can affect the sound - sheesh)! A Mac amp of the era would be really something to consider for those Kappas when you think of the build quality and timeless aesthetics of much of Infinity's offerings in the 80s.

They are still nice looking speakers, I would like to see him pair them with a NOS MC352
