Default MP100 Phono Pre

..$2000 seems reasonable enough but am wondering how it would compare with the phono stage in my C500P..

I would imagine to keep the bean counters happy, it is the same design phono stage to the other preamps only repackaged with other features of the MP100 added.

not sure myself how much benefit the MP100 offers using a MM cart and a C28 preamp. I have the MP100 now and just not hearing a huge, if any, benefit.
