Truly. While not what I'd term a "classic" it still draws attention.

The visual aesthetic aside, you should hear it at WOT!

If I ever had to replace it I would be on the hunt for one of these:

Don't wait too long. The 550 has already "doubled" in price over just a few year's time.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Grab a Ferrari 599GTB before the prices explode in the next 5-10 years. It is an absolute bargain right now.

What do you think of the California?

I was looking at one as it ticks the box as a 4-seater convertible-

Fifteen of them on the duPont Registry at the moment.

After test driving the Cali a few times I came to the conclusion it is a great car. Plenty or "more than enough" performance I should say , sexy styling and the open top motoring in a Ferrari is always a big plus. Go for it, they have adjusted in price to where it makes sense and depreciation should not be a large factor going forward for the earlier models.

Thanks for the feedback.

I need to test drive one and see how functional the back seat really is for my little ones (the motivation for a 4-seater).

Little ones will be fine. As they grow will be a different story Those rear seats really are for kids only

California had a “rear seat delete” option which gave you a nice bench and custom Ferrari luggage instead. No doubt those options will bring a huge premium many years from now since it was rare that owners opted for it. Looked really cool too.
