A man Named Tom. Tom was the engineer that designed the Concepts amps, receivers for Pacific Audio.
Look up a Concept 16.5. They also had a house brand speaker called Janson not Jenson, they were up for a raffle at the caljam concert at the then Ontario Motor Speedway back when Calif was a real state. Anyway I was the guy that got all 4 of these 15" 4 ways. He then was also one of the pioneers to develop the concept of separate subwoofers and satellite speakers. I went with him to MCA recording studios when I was 17 years old back in the 70s. I think he used Philips drivers and JBL back in the day. They had Westlake gear, JBLs etc. Well I was done at that point |

A school mate had a reel to reel in his room. And the first Sony tape Walkman. A life on two wheels awaited.

No person. It was that transistor radio under the pillow and the ads in the newspapers that drew me into my first stereo stores. I didn't know anyone with gear.
