My notes on this room. On less complex pieces like sax or guitar they sounded really good. As soon as they played complex orchestral or rock pieces the speakers sounded as if they were going to rattle apart and were congested in the high end. I wonder what they would sound like with premium amplification?

I didn't hear a lot of different pieces played on it, but they played Big Phat band and it has quite a bit of bass drum and guitar mixed with horns. To me it sounded pretty good considering the tiny class D amp. Like you, I wonder what those speakers can really do in a higher end setup. The speakers do cost 30k, so not many people would be pairing that with a 1k integrated.

I guess you'll have to ask the driver or the people who took the shuttle over. Myself, I just walked across the street.

As, I noted Alon decided too late to get in the official program. Better late than dropping out entirely as many did.

I'm over here trying to play the same music I heard in that room, and it doesn't sound as good at home. Dammit bill, what have you done? Do I need to go buy a vtl and dcs stack now? Lol

I guess it proves my Sasha's are capable of much more than I'm throwing at them.
