Was all McIntosh "back then". C2200, MVP861 & a pair of new MC75 amps driving a pair of Joseph Audio RM25XL speakers. Tuner (which I still listen to) is a Sony ST-J75. Vintage system is a C29, MC2125 (to the left of the left speaker) and an MC2105 (undergoing restoration on the bottom shelf). A Yamaha TX-1000 on the top shelf and a Philips CDP above the MC2125. TT/TA is a 'tweaked' Oracle Alexandria. Cartridge would likely have been an Ortofon Kontrapunkt-b, which has since been retipped by Peter at SoundSmith. ICs were Wasatch, made in Utah (was one of Kimber's engineers who went out on his own for a few years before returning to Kimber) and speaker cables were silver coated, flat-woven 6-9s copper that I made up with Cardas terminations. Great fun.

I had no camera in 2001, so no photos, but I had the same Mirage speakers and Pioneer Elite laserdisc player I have now. There were also 2 pair of B&K Sonata monoblock amps, an Audio Research LS3 preamp, an Aragon 47k phono preamp, a VPI HW-19 Mk IV turntable, a California Audio Labs Tercet Mk 4 CD player, Denon TU-800 tuner, and a 27" Sony XBR CRT TV.

SOTA Sapphire, Rotel phono preamp, Sony SCD-777ES, conrad-johnson Premier 17LS and MF2500, Magnepan 1.6 QRs, ASC Tube Traps. Still have the c-j gear in the living room system, but had to give up the semi-dedicated room for other purposes.
