Same thing happened with my Sashas when they were new. It should remedy itself in a day or two. R u running a signal thru them intermittently or constantly? The latter will yield faster results, obviously.

I'd say I'm running them 12 hours a day. Low volume when I'm at work. The neighbors aren't that thrilled with my hobby. I don't want to push it.....

Pesky neighbors . That's the format I used. I didn't run my system 24 hours a day either. It should settle down in a day or so.

I try not to pay much attention to new speakers/gear while they are breaking in. I'm quite sure it is completely normal.

Jim,

Congrats on the Q5 !
Can we see pics ?
Please do me a favor : invite this asian 65 years old lady and ask her to bring her preferred music. She may be an audiophile and I would love to see that smile !

I would not worry yet.... Let them break in a little. I have never heard these speakers but they have reviewed many positive reviews. I know you will be happy once you build some hours on them.

You must have great self control as far as the volume level goes. I couldn't do it. After a few Grey Gooses the walls would be shaking and the police would be knocking at the door.

After about 100+ hours, they are opening up and getting more dynamic. The bass is getting a bit "punchier". I have to fool around with placement a bit more. My room is a tad difficult to voice.
