And then:

Devreese - Benvenuta - L'Oeuvre au Noir - Un Soir, un Train
Belgian Radio and Television Philharmonic Orchestra, Frédéric Devreese
via Qobuz

Devreese composed quite some film scores.
You might recognise the Benvenuta Suite.

J.S. Bach - Violin Concertos
La Petite Bande, Sigiswald Kuijken
via Qobuz

Playing into the practice.
Still my reference recoding for these pieces.
(Although Isabelle Faust comes close).

Antonio Vivaldi - Le Quattro Stagioni - Concerto RV 403 - "La Follia" RV 63
La Petite Bande, Sigsiwald Kuijken
via Qobuz

Small ensemble interpretations to enhance transparency, that Kuijken's recipe.
This is a programme they also brought live last year in a church, and it was very intense.

Hélène Grimaud - The Messenger
Works by Mozart & Silverstrov
Camerata Salzburg
Qobuz 24/96

I love Silvestrov's works.
They have a dreamy quality, are intelligent and give the listener a good feeling.
I didn't know what to expect from the pairing with an obscure 18th century composer, but his music is actually quite okay.
I might even listen to more of his works.

J.S. Bach - Musicalisches Opfer
Barthold, Sigiswald & Wieland Kuijken, Robert Kohnen
via Qobuz

One of Bach's most difficult and intriguing works for me.

All 4 symphonies in one go!
Recorded in '57, '59, and '63.
First listen, but I know these works quite well in other versions.
I'd say: not bad at all!

Technology has definitely evolved the last decades.

My last conclusion still stands.
My system is even more resolving now, and show that these recordings are nice, have an agreeable vintage sound, but they are nowhere near the sound quality of some modern versions.
Good to have them in my collection, but Fischer and co will definitely be played more often.
