Mine's currently connected to the Venom NR v10-fed original-version Hydra. That in itself elevated what I hear through the living-room system (Saint Mrs. agrees), and I'm anxious to swap in the bedroom-system's NR v10 to link the 17LS to the Hydra once I get a Delta to replace it. Will let you know when that happens.

If it's any consolation, you're not alone.

Default Shunyata Delta NR power cord and Furutech Flux-50 NCF Filter

I’m just trying an NR Delta (v1) into an MC452. To my ears, it’s better going from the PS Audio P15 than from the wall into the amp. Don’t have a Denali to compare.

Confirmed the Flux-50 from the P15 across a wireworld PC to the MC452 made a big difference as I recalled. The NR Delta was not as drastic, but different and and think I prefer its increase clarity. Only an hour in. While juggling cables I moved my C2600 over to a “high power” outlet and that added more immediacy also — never occurred to me that a pre wanted a high powered outlet.

[Edit: oops, I changed the power cable to the pre with the wireworld, trickledown, perhaps that accounts for it. Only change one thing at a time. Perhaps next time I pull things out I’ll test that difference. The ports should not make a difference in sound, I think it’s related to delay and power up]

[Edit: I’ve had to turn down the subs a bit on the ML Ethos in the other room on the MC275 also off the same C2600. That pre really needed better than that old Venom cable]

[Edit: Picked up another Delta NR v1 for the P15 to good effect. That last low “fame” from Bowie’s Fame got a boost. Makes no sense, except to my ears. Didn’t change distortion readings on the P15. The Yggy liked the old high current venom/NFC trickledown]
