I love it!!! I always liked the 70's vintage Marantz gear, in fact my first true component stereo amp was a model 1030-which I still have to this day.

I remember all of those beauties you have there....and indeed they all look to be in fine shape. And, I would also bet that it all sounds darn good.

There's just something about the look of vintage 70's gear.

I'm pretty happy with how it sounds. In fact, I haven't listened to a CD since I got this up and running.

I've owned more than one 2252B and have always liked the smooth Marantz sound. Marantz and HPM's go well together.

I almost bought a pair of HPM-100's over the weekend but couldn't pull the trigger. They were mismatched and at $175, a bit pricey. They would have paired nicely with my 2500 receiver.
