I think a number of people have suggested that putting an inexpensive cartridge in a good arm on a high-end turntable can yield some surprisingly great results. And I agree.

Yes, the Michell Gyro is a really good turntable. I had one for many years, upgraded over time into an OrGy (Orbe platter, bearing etc.) Replaced now by Avid Acutus SP, which is the last one I will buy, only the Reference power supply to get when funds permit.
