I had to destroy Nordost Halo Plug

As I noticed something was loose at male side of Valhalla2 PC. I checked and found out that all the
black plastic parts were broken. They were brittle
By heat I think. All broken black parts in the pictures
Were self destructed, not me.

I had a warranty card, but I didn’t register it. Once I saw
The quality of this so call Halo plug, I think I will upgrade it with Furutech FI46 Gold Plated plugs. I think gold plated one will retain original sound closer to the rodium plated one.

Problem is the carbon looked body of Halo plug seemed to be glued. I think I have to demolish it.

Interestingly that on the IEC side, the black plastics were
Intact. And silver body can be removed easily. Only the male side that it sticked.

This is genuine cord.
