The last version of Sonus Faber reference speakers designed and voiced by Franco Serblin, the Amati Anniversario were one of his greatest achievements.

I knew once I got my Elipsa SE that I wouldn't change them except maybe for a pair of Strad. I have never felt the need since to upgrade or change anything about them. I've only been toying with the idea of adding a couple of subwoofer but that's it.

I've been expecting SF to discontinue them for some time already. They were the last of that design and the company has moved on since.

Moved on is one way to put it. Change for the sake of change .
