They are more than likely going to eat much of the parts cost, I'll just be liable for the labor. So we'll see how long repair takes.
Hope it works out for you. We appreciate your service, especially as a former vet myself

I am not defending Mc specifically, but I would not say that some comments on a forum about issues with equipment really don't provide any serious form of documentation at all. To state that something has actually "alarmingly" increased would require some facts such as knowing, for example, that 3000 pieces were built, 25 failed last year and 175 this year, a statistically significant change that documents an increase in failures. Without that info, I would be inclined to be more circumspect in my generalizations. FWIW My 3 year old MX151 is just perfect and I have a number of sources running though it.

Forum commentary aside, it is a fact that QC issues at Mc have risen dramatically - mainly among equipment that relies on firmware OS and such.

Excepting for these, overall QC would probably be consistent with historic levels, or better.

That is indeed interesting. May I ask what the source of your data base on that is?

That is a troll post; this is common knowledge, and been going on now for well over 5 years.

QC is one issue. How about customer service? Hope you never have to have your MX151 serviced but if you do, are you going to be asking the statistical significance of such alarmingly slow repair time?

Even though classified TOP SECRET, the source as far as I can tell, using NSA databases, is Charlie Randall.

Best Sir,

Geez, that's not too kind of a thing to say (troll post?) I didn't start on this forum yesterday and I really thought I asked a sincere question. I mean I really honestly thought microprocessors etc. had gotten to be fairly reliable.

did think it was a bit much labeling your post a troll post.
