The t-bones are very simple, freshly ground salt and pepper, and extra virgin olive oil. The mint infused EVOO is what gives the binding flavor to the meat afterwards.

The pieces of meat were very nice so I didn't want to mess with the natural flavor too much.

Last night my wife and I went to a Walla Walla wine event in Boise called Swirl! Sip! Savor! where we were able to taste our choice of wines from over 22 different Walla Walla, WA based wineries! They had a raffle as a part of the event, and I managed to be one of three winners! One of the six bottles of wine I won was a magnum bottle of L'Ecole No. 41 Perigee which is a Cab Sav, Merlot, and Cab Franc blend and is excellent!

It's hot here in SoCal so I am having the lightest Scotch I can find... with lots of ICE and water. J&B. The only time I drink this stuff is when its is hot.

Ooooo that sounds like a good one Douglax.

Tomorrow (errr... this coming evening I should say, looking at my clock) is going to be a loooooooooong drinking day.

Sokal Blosser - Goospen Block Pinot Noir

I've kicked it up a notch. Probably the best or at least one of the best local winery in Oregon.
