Thanks for the info. I haven't heard back from ARC probably due to the long weekend. I'm sure they are going to tell me it's nothing.

I think this is normal because the way they use level and balance ICs. I can't see any problem when listening to music although sometimes when making measurements it might be necessary to mute one channel but this can also be done with disconnecting cables.
