Indeed, for the overall good, just had to take this pain. Seeing McIntosh stuff leaving is never easy, whether they are entry, mid or high level gears! I have to really think hard each time if I am going to let go the painfully amassed Vintage McIntosh bedroom system and many a times, I just said to myself, why do it? I dont need the money and certainly, the only thing bothering me is space and fortunately or unfortunately, more McGears keeps coming in (this I got to learn to stop). I have also learn how to "artistically" turn a deaf ear and a blind eye whenever the subject of me hogging a lot of space at home because of my growing McGears. So, I share your sentiment. BUT when the axe really comes down, we just have to put together the ONE system we have to have and move on. Life is not always what we wanted it to be. Sometimes, it just have to be a compromise. To me, family harmony and peace at home takes priority although deep in me, I could not believe why my hifi system cannot have equal opportunity and importance! Thats life I suppose - mine at least!
