DAC8 en route

I found a nice used DAC8 a couple weeks ago and it should be delivered today if all goes well.

The latest from UPS says...

It's actually sunny today with no snow in the forecast until tomorrow so it looks like all systems go. At a balmy 14 degrees out I'll need to let it warm up a bit first. I'll report back once things get underway...

Doug...congrats on the DAC 8 I have not heard the DAC 8 so not familiar with it s sonic qualities but I hope it turns out great and you enjoy it in your system

Spent a LOT of time at 2 diff dealers listening to DAC8.... Very detailed and more of the old ARC sound to me anyway !!! ..while I went a different way, a very NICE DAC...inthink TAS is lost in space with the belief that DAC7 is better..drop dead silent and black backgrounds....ENJOY!!!!!
