Yes I used the V Cap calculator. However, based on that, 10 microfarad should be more than enough. So, I think Gryphon's input impedance is either overstated or there is some other interaction that I am not smart enough to figure out.
Anyway, adding the additional 20micro farad for the case of Gryphon has improved things quite a bit - although still cannot beat the Naim Statement in the bass department

I'm wondering if the improved bass performance is more of a result of the sonic signature of the Stealth caps as opposed to the added capacitance. Either way I'm glad it is an improvement for you. Boone |
