Default Musical Fidelity's M1 CLIC

I am intrigued about this brand new "universal music controller" by Musical Fidelity:

Musical Fidelity M1HPA Headphone Amplifier

It seems to solve all my current needs when it comes to implementing a cost-effective, computer-less, all-in-one, digital music server WITH cover art display.

For around $2K you get a great sounding DAC (similar to the one in the M1 DAC, I assume), multiple-format compatibility including FLAC, ethernet, wi-fi, streaming, SEVEN (!) digital inputs including multiple USB options, a digital iPod interface that by-passes the iPod's own DAC, and even analog inputs that supposedly are truly analog and would mean that one could use the CLIC as a nice pre-amp as well. PLUS (and here's what might win me over) an intuitive interface via a built-in display. Which means browsing a large collection and being able to display cover artwork and metadata should be no problem. Just add your hard-drive or USB stick (or both), connect the analog outputs to your amp, and voila: your own music server. And hopefully remote and third-party apps are around the corner for what should be a very popular product...

I am curious to read the reviews on this, which I am sure will be plenty. If anybody happens to come across any, please post the links here.

This looks like a fun little digital player/pre-amp with all the loaded options. If it had a phono input and a FM tuner, it would be a great bedroom/office source/pre-amp. I'm curious what the remote looks like...

My vote is still out for recent MF gear as i never felt the VDAC was performed any better than the DAC in my TV.
