I use WW Silver Eclipse 7 interconncts and speakers.

before Kimber, cardas.

WW is the Top in this price liga.

Shunyata speakers and interconncts have a very very diferente sound vs WW.

more "dry" vs WW. What for amplifier you use?

I'm currently using a Parasound A21. In addition, I have all WW Silver Electra 7 power cords and WW Silver Eclipse 7 interconnects.

Silver Electra 7 are silver & copper. I use the same cable pre-power ampli and pre-sources. I'm very happy with WW.

you have the PC WW and introducing a Cobra Z-tron in your system is for me not the top choice.

Imho: go with the WW speakers too.
OR change the interconnects too -> full Shunyata.

I just purchased WW Silver Eclipse 7 speaker cables and the Gold Starlight 7 digital cable. Although they are both new, my immediate thoughts are more defined bass, better detail, but not bright.

Many cables seem to accentuate detail by raising the level of high frequency content. By stating "better detail, but not bright" I believe means that the detail is obtained without adding an undue emphasis on the high frequencies. Elevated high frequency content is often referred to as a 'bright' presentation.

Exactly! That being said, I hope that the cable continues to improve. At times the sound is a little disjointed and I hope it's because the cable is new.

I've often wondered about the physics of silver-clad copper cables. Since silver is more conductive than copper, couldn't a phase problem be created if the signal can move faster along the silver outside part of the cable than the copper interior part of the cable? I used to own a silver-clad copper Audioquest Diamond USB cable and I could detect what I would describe as a slight smearing or distortion of the sound compared to the pure silver Wireworld Platinum Starlight USB cable. I am not certain what caused this effect. Any engineers or scientists out there please feel free to chime in.

Thanks,
Ken

Anyway for me the WW silver Electra 7 is a great cable.

I use xlr S.Electra too. (pre-ampli and pre-source).

Silver 100% does not sound so "round" as copper but details are much better.

silver / copper is a good combination to have a sound not so analytical (on some systems) - then there's the taste ....

Class A power ampli and pure silver -> good
Class A/B power ampli and silver/copper -> good (better as only silver)

this one have a price/perfomance really amazing:

Silver Cables, Speaker Cables, High End Cables, German Highend, Speaker Silvercables: GERMAN HIGHEND, Silberkabel, made in Germany, Silberstecker, High End Kabel, Silber Kabel, Highend-Kabel
