Default Unknown type of fuse - please help

Please assist to find out the type of Fuse in Pre Amp, model PCA-2.
Same fuse installed in External PSU, model Analog HCPS.

Length overal - 31.1 mm (1.23 inch), dia.=6.3 mm (0.248 inch).

As I understood - it's PS Audio style to use such type of fuse.

Default Standard US Type fuse

Hi Sergio,
That is a US standard 3AG size.
It is 1/4" diameter and 1 1/4" long.
Very commonly used before the metric fuses became popular in the US.
Converted to metric it would be a 6.35mm x 32mm.

The "AG" means auto glass. These were typical in American cars years ago before the blade type now used.

You can easily order them on Amazon. As an example, here's a 3 amp Littelfuse 3AG Slow Blow.

Make sure you look at the current rating stamped on the end of your old fuse.

Sergio --- Music Direct sells HiFi-Tuning Fuses which many on AA have chosen to replace their 'stock' fuses.
