Default Marc's system

Ok, I finally have it to a point where I want to share with you

I only wish I could share how it sounds, which is pretty good! My equipment list is in my signature.

Sorry, my phone doesn't take the best pics, but you get the idea.

Yeah, great set-up! Also, like the blend of tube and SS with the 452 and 2300. And with the D100 run as a source... Hope to get close to that with the new pre-amp.

Yes. More about the D100. Junker, on the other forum, you were going to review the D100. Haven't looked. Did you?

But this setup is just beautiful. I auditioned almost this exact system a couple weeks ago in the store. I could have listened for hours.

Nothing formal written up. I'm sure Marc has a few things to say about the D100. It's really excellent, especially as a source, and for the $...

My balanced cable was just installed a few days ago, and now I'm thinking about getting the C2500 with it's built-it DAC, but the way Marc has it is very nice. And the speakers look great, too!

I haven't heard a LOT of dacs...several people on AA like the Schiit Bifrost, and various other "giant killers". I'll just say this: Unlike my venerable MF M1Dac, the D100 does an outstanding job of making digital sound more analog. And isn't that what they are all supposed to do? I find that it makes voices sound organic and natural. All that shrill crap that I have been used to for years is gone. What more can I want?

Plus, I had to fill a shelf in my rack

This may be the model system: quality, performance, syntergy, aesthics > perfect = nothing can be added or taken away.
