Glad I missed out on a half-price AC12...

I find it a well balanced cable from top to bottom, its fluid, coherent but doesn't sacrifice fine detail, slam or control. I'm using mine on an Halo A21 with one on a Dectet as well.

Its worth an audition .

I've decided to forgo what could be a futile and overly expensive tweak with power cords. I'm going to just enjoy my system with the stock cords for now. Thanks for everyone's opinions.

Hello,

I had a couple of AC-5s for a brief try on my power amps a few years back. Compared to the stock cables the sound was nicer (I noticed a stronger bottom) but flat in terms of soundstage. The main reason I didn't keep them, however, was they were too stiff for my liking; I prefer flexibility. I do still use a couple of the Jewel AC cords on peripherals and don't find anything negative in doing so.
