Gentlemen, I am still listening and I'm loving it. It is good to be back in Class A again and arguably the best class A it can be, an SET.

Come to think of it, my most cherished memories of all my past systems gave always been class A and especially SET. The most delicious sound was from an SET that was OTL (output transformerless) but that was a headphone amp...

Serge...glad to hear it

Since you sold your SME rig, any ideas which direction you are going to head down to replace it? Do you still have the EAR phono or will that need to be replaced too? I also saw you were selling the A90 so again not sure if you have any ideas on the components of the vinyl rig or still too early at this point. Thx

Cyril, right now the Technics SL1200MKV sounds so damn good through this rig that I even question the need for a much more expensive table. Still have the EAR phono and I still love it and am still very impressed with it. Good thing I didn't sell it.

My wife just happen to catch the sound of some vinyl I was spinning and came down to investigate the new sound. "Best I've hear in your recent systems" she said. Buy this amp she said... I agree with that statement, sometimes all the stars align just right and the sum is greater than the parts. I'll play around with this setup for a few more days and see what transpires.

So here is what this rig looks like now. The Ayon is all single ended so I couldn't leave the rack on the other side of the room with the balanced cables. The Crossfire amp is gorgeous! Tomorrow I'll pull out my Canon 5D and L glass and take some toob shots. I think the AA62Bs will make great toob glow subjects.

Very nice Serge

I looked at their separate power amp on their web site, the Odin. 2 x 50W of SET class A power : very impressive. Including the price tag !
About the Verdier, when we plugged the amps, I can assure you they made music in a wonderful way. After 2 days, I was almost sure to buy them.
I told Mr Verdier that I would be listening to them at very moderate volumes, so probably that he thought the mismatch of impedance would not play an important role in the final result. I would have liked to hear it on tube friendly speakers like yours but I love too much my speakers to even think of something else...

Enjoy your beautiful Ayon system !

Congratulations Serge!

Mike aka Face got me hot on that amp. It looks beautiful and I am sure it sounds awesome. It must be heaven with the Tannoys. That is the one to get. Ayon makes great gear.

Serge...I like it, nothing like analog & tubes that make beautiful music. Very simple and straight to the point after all it's about the music.

Have you tried using the CD-2s' analog section and go direct into the Crossfire?

Tannoys are easy to drive so SET amps would sound grate. Check out Cary Audio 805ae. It's a 300b tube SET mono block amp. It'll be sweet with your Tannoy!
