But Jim, The game! Go Blue! Will you be stopping off on your way to the game or after? It will be a busy Saturday. Have Fun. Oh yeah I left the mini cheese cakes in the cup holder so don't let them spoil! A really fun night it was and then the Tigers won. They are so lucky. Cheers

The game is at 7pm at Northwestern this weekend. Not to worry. I will be back in time to catch that while recording the Tigers to watch afterwards.

Which speakers were they paired with Friday?

Jim

Last evening was the second Paragon Event of the fall and the first of their Fall Music and Film Series. Met up with Chuck and Doug two other AA members to cycle through the three rooms that were set up.

Room 1 was Doshi Audio featuring Nick Doshi's hand built tubed pre and power amps driving Wilson Sasha's connected with Transparent cabling. I enjoyed listening to Nick talk about his design and the thought process that went into selecting individual parts.

Room 2 was a Wilson HT set-up with Maxx 3's for the R&L channel, the new Mezzo center channel and their Watch Dog sub. Powering the Maxx's was a pair of McIntosh 601, the center and surround used the 303, while a Krell 402 powered the Watch Do. The MX-150 handled the processing. From my brief time listening to the Watch Dog it might be right up there with the Gotham's especially for someone who wants an all Wilson set-up.

Room 3 was a Transparent Audio discussion on listening with a McItnosh 6600 powering a of Sophia 3's.

Jim

Heading out in about an hour for another event at Paragon this evening.
"A Night of Fine Sounds" interesting play on words based on the companies attending this evening.

The evening will kick off with Alan Haggar, Midwest Regional Sales Manager of Sumiko; and John Hunter of Fine Sounds, who will be presenting Sonus Faber Amati Futuras, Cremona Elipsa SE Speakers, and REL Acoustics G1 & G2 Sub-bases Systems.

David Gordon, National Sales Manager of Audio Research Company, will also be present; he will be introducing ARC's New! REF250 Monoblock Amplifiers!

Joining the rest of Fine Sounds will be David Watson, Midwest Regional Sales Manager; and John Schaffer, President of Wadia Digital; these two will be presenting Wadia's S7i CD Transport/Player along with other Wadia products
