KX-5 Twenty output impedance?
Does anyone know what it is? Ayre doesn't include it in the specs. I'm using the KX-5 Twenty with a VX-5 Twenty amp (2MΩ input impedance), but wondering about pairing it with the 100kΩ input impedance Parasound JC 1 monoblocks.

So long as the output impedance "rating" of preamplifier is less than the input impedance of the amplifier(s), the units should be compatible.

Stereophile review said "The preamplifier's unbalanced output impedance was a low 78 ohms from 20Hz to 20kHz; the balanced impedance was twice that figure, as expected."
You are absolutely fine. The general rule is 1:10 ratio and above is good. https://www.stereophile.com/content/...r-measurements |

That's an exceptionally robust output impedance for a preamplifier. Should be more than capable of running any amplifier ever made - or several at once.
