I like the fact that you are using only distilled water and no cleaning solution. The Audio Desk uses a very tiny bottle of cleaning solution ( about 5cl ) for 4.5 l of distilled water.
I also like that the KLAUDIO lets you select the time of US cleaning and the time of drying. But I am also happy to have also one button to push on the Audio Desk.
Both look like top performing units.

Jerome, I assume you're aware the cleaning cycle of the AD is also user selectable from 1-5 minutes, just hold down the start button & each beep equals an extra minute cleaning.

EDIT: Jerome, we were obviously typing at the same time

Dan,
Wanted the thank you for sharing your well written and informative review on the Klaudio Ultrasonic Record Cleaner. I have the Audio Desk, and your review has me itching to try the Klaudio. Really like the fact that only distilled water is required. These types of record cleaners get you to clean vinyl "just-to-clean-vinyl".

Don.......I know what you mean. I'm going to have to purchase more vinyl just to play with the Klaudio record cleaner. I am happy as a lark to own this very special machine. .

Jérôme.......Yes, ultrasound only. No brushes. The albums come out of the record cleaner looking brand new and gleaming. Best of all, they sound fabulous.

Ok.
And is there a filter collecting dust to clean / change ?

Jérôme.......No air filters to worry about either. The Klaudio record cleaner does not use a fan with blades like those found on a computer. It uses a large motor that spins a squirrel cage fan to move a large volume of air.

Here's a short Klaudio video.

Dan...

I was not thinking about air filtering but water filtering.
Without a proper water filter it seems to me that you will need to change the water pretty often : the collected dust stays in the water. It is like washing something with a dirty water.
