Evidently it doesn’t count. Take a look at the top times list. It’s still the Lambo although the GT2 MR set the time like 2 years ago. It did have over $100k in suspension/wheels/body trim mods. Engine was stock supposedly.

Was never my dream. I’ve owned a “few” GT3’s including the RS. In fact if I wished I kept one GT3, it would have been the 997 series when it still had the Mezger engine and a Motorsport derived proper manual gearbox. That is the ultimate street sports car. PDK takes the fun out of a street car but on the track it is king. That’s my opinion though, others will disagree.

I gave up on those things some time back. A nice cruise on Harley and BMW bikes reigned supreme through my 40’s after grabbing handfuls of throttle and doing 3rd gear power wheelies on modified crotch rockets in my 30’s. I don’t ride much anymore. After a few very close calls that were completely out of my control, the thought of laying my life and bones on the line for others to take just doesn’t appeal to me anymore.

A happy owner here of a regular 991 GT3 with some track time - Dijon, Castellet, Magny-Cours, Hockenheim, Red Bull Ring (my favorite) - but I sometimes miss those extra 200hp through the apec and into that long straight line !
