CD Storage
We're looking for a nice storage cabinet for cd/dvd's. Preferably something high quality, cherry, large, glass doors maybe. Maybe something like a barristers bookcase. What do you use? Any suggestions and especialy pics would help narrow the search. 'Net surfing for this kind of thing gets real tedious.

wpines.......Eagle Industries manufactures some nice barrister (lawyer) bookcases.
http://www.eagle-ind.com/product_lin...nt=-20052#_top , then click on Bookcase item # 13904. Eagle Industries doesn't sell direct, but can tell you who carries their furniture. I have four of the bookcases. They are attractive, and well made. They come in two shelf, three, shelf, and four shelf versions.

I use a Squeezebox primarily and store the originals in an antique dark stained oak bookcase. It's a craftsman style piece that is not super high quality, but it is solid oak, and just about the perfect size for storing CDs. If you're handy and/or into woodworking you could very easily build a custom case that is either free-standing or hangs on the wall. I've thought about doing this myself, but the Squeezebox makes storage/display of my collection somewhat less important now.
I also use a Case Logic CD book for all of the live shows I've downloaded and burned to disc. -Matt |
