Not to hijack this thread, but is this statement generally true for most set-ups? Was reading this/similar threads for general sub info to add small/fill lower frequencies to my 2 channel system (31 Hz - 24k Hz -3db towers) , wanted to pickup 15/20 -35+ Hz instead of getting bigger towers. Wondering if a single sub would be enough or possibly 2 stacked would fill better based on above statement

Reach out to Barry the "sound doctor" He is very knowledgeable & passionate about anything to do with subs. If your pocket allows he even does house calls.
