Congratulations on the new speakers! You are going to love them, especially in your system. I finally got to hear the Sashas last week and on top of that in an all Jadis tubed setup!

I understand the feeling of wanting time to hurry up! That is how I felt when we were finishing up the theater room. Yet when it is all set up and done it will seem like time has slowed down as you lose yourself in the music... what a wonderful feeling it is!

It will be a 2Ch system. I have an EMM Labs TDSI/DAC2 source, Audio Research Ref5 preamp, and Lamm M1.2 hybrid mono amps.

I am with you guys on the Sashas. I went to a dealer last fall to hear a pair of Vandersteen 5A's. And after hearing the Sashas both me and my wife knew we HAD to get them! Auditioning leads directly to purchase!

SRT-10 you will love the Sashas with the Lamm amps. I am using the same amps and they make such great music together. Very dynamic, the littlest musical details emerge, beautiful tone from top to bottom, and three dimensional. They seem to make the speakers sound more natural than any other amp I have heard with the Sashas. Your Ref 5 should be an excellent preamp to go with the amps. I am using a Lamm LL2.1 preamp (and find that I don't miss the remote one bit!)

By the way, enjoy the set-up process. It is really interesting to watch and experience. Once mine were set up, the guys just wanted to sit and listen to record after record even though they had a 3 hour drive back to their store.

Thanks... I plan to take pictures of the setup process and post them this weekend assuming the listening bug doesn't take me away from my computer.

Who is going the set-up for you, Larry or Bill?

Larry is going out of town... He mentioned a name of his installer, don't think it was Bill.
