Amazingly gorgeous system. That's the way a room should look, IMHO. Sashas look amazing.

Wow !!!
Beautiful setup Dave. I'm sure it sounds great. Good luck.
I wish I had known Serge's gear was up for sale when I was spending some money. I can't complain though. I bet the synergy is awesome. Please keep us updated. Joe |

Congrats !!
What a wonderful system this must be ! Did you think about having the amps closer to the speakers with shorter speaker cables ?

Thanks for the comments everyone!
Got in a few hours of listening last night and I can tell this is going to be a very special system. The characteristic that I kept thinking while listening was "this sounds like real humans playing real instruments". Even my wife, who is not known to sit in the sweet spot for more than one song, sat glued to the chair as I put on record after record.
The system is not more dynamic, not more exciting, not more detailed, really not more of anything I can point out right now. In fact, most of that stuff just doesn't really even stand out anymore like it used to. It just sounds natural and relaxed. I now understand what they mean when people describe the sound of Lamm gear as "organic". I still have a lot of set up, tweaking, and am awaiting some new Cardas interconnects. Joeinid - just a clarification that I did not buy Serge's gear (I doubt he would ever part with it!) I got this from three different sources including a dealer (used), a review demo piece, and someone on Audiogon. The thing that I am just so impressed with is the capability of the Sashas to totally transform based on the electronics that are driving them.

Nice system! only thing you need there is a critical mass racks on those lamm amps, then you are set for another level of performance you cannot imagine possible.
