Lexicon mc4 vs mc12
He all...it anybody here familiar with Lexicon. Is the mc12 that much better for a 5.1 or 7.1 ht setup. I do nothing with 2 channel just movies. Would love gain anything important by getting an mc12 or is the mc4 a good enough and new enough upgrade from my lexicon dc1. I am using an oppo 103 for movies and the lexicon dc1, I am using these already, has the 7.1 analog input upgrade on it already. Any opinion would he appreciated.

I began with the MC-8v2 and moved up to the MC12v5EQ.
There is substantial difference, besides the additional input abilities, in adjustment if that is important. Major upgrade in DACs, if I remember correctly. As you move up the MC12 ladder, eventually to the EQ, the features are more profound. If the price differences are not of foremost concern, I'd go with the MC12 and find a used one that is at the v5EQ level.
