I've had YggY on and decoding bits continuously for the last 10 days.
Last night I settled in and listened to Beck Sea Change 24/96 and it sounded the best my system has ever sounded.
This digital audio thing might just catch on.

Tom,

I’m so glad that you are happy with this purchase. The Yggy is a tremendous performer.

Thanks Dan, Stephen;
The real test is how much I'm listening to my stereo now - a lot more than I used to. I'm liking the ease and flow of the music coming out of this DAC. Exceptional.

Greg - this was probably the best $2000 I've spent on my system. Thanks again for an easy transaction.

I've also got a new-to-me (4 month old) Yggy 2 baking in my high-end headphone system - Stax SR-009 headphones, "DIY" T2 amplifier. I've been in a digital desert for me the last few months, with my original Yggy sold as I upgraded my SOTA Nova turntable, and iMac (where I pull FLAC files off of) dying shortly after that. Finally I'm back up and running with the Yggy 2 and a beautiful new MSI GS75 laptop. I'm digging it! Actually, digging it a LOT so far. And I'm plenty surprised that the better FLAC files can really give my SOTA rig a good run for the money (hard for a vinyl junkie to admit). The Yggy 2 is definitely better than I remember the original version. Not by miles, but still a meaningful difference. But still not sold on the USB 5; seemed a bit bright and lean when I tried it at first - running through my old Audiophilleo converter for now, but I'll try USB again after more run in.

If you want to run S/PDIF, I very highly recommend the Schiit Eitr...
