I could drive to Bucks County to pick these up...……….so tempting. I'd have to run a 20 amp line to the shed because that's where My wife would have me living. It's funny that my dealer never liked SF. He sold them but he preferred Wilson's. That was one thing we disagreed on. He said they were very amp dependent.

Just move into David’s house. You could easily get lost inside!

I owned at least 5 pairs of various Sonus Faber speakers over the last 12 years and tried just about every available topology, tubes, SS and SS Class A including hybrid amps. While the SF house sound/sonic signature persisted, any of the amps were able to bring out the very best of them. I was very fond of the GM as I had this pair for the longest time and put much effort into dialing them in with a stereo pair of subs and even active crossovers at the time. (In fact that first picture is actually my pair in my old house)

The result was jaw dropping. Imaging, bass and overall musicality was superb. The GM’s are fantastic speakers. I could have easily lived with that forever but you know how this hobby goes, it was on to the Wilson phase of my hobby thereafter. I’d say more care is needed in pairing Wilson speakers rather than these GM! If you decide to pull the trigger on these and David still wants to sell them, I’d say you’ll be very happy with this purchase.

Thanks for looking but I’ve decided to keep the Guarneri Mementos.
