How unfortunate for MT-10 owners if the Outer Ring is not available for this table.
I have been using one with an Ovation/Clarify/Benz SLR with fantastic improvement.
I find not only are warps usually nulified (a few bad actors are beyond help it seems) but the bass is tighter and faster.

The best part of my ring is the serial number: 666

Don't worry about it!

I have had in my system a Koetsu Rosewood, so I know exactly how it sounds with my analogue tandem.

Clearaudio/SME combination sounds really nice, you get the best from both worlds. My acrylic Clearaudio turntable sounds in the ethereal side , airy and precise. SME arms (309, IV and V) have beautiful thickness but they offer everything from the record. Imho best tandem than Clearaudio pickups in Clearaudio turntables...

Anyway, best cartridges I have heard in my system have been my Skala (fast and detailed) and the K Rosewood (romantic but with beautiful timbre and colours, not black and white sound)

But this is not really true, you always can use the Outer Ring in a non Clearaudio turntable thanks to the Spider template.

Anyway maybe Locator template is valid for your McIntosh platters, keep in mind that they come from the same factory.

Ps. Mine is 726...

You could be absolutely right, your turntable platter is exactly the same as the MT 10, I doubt they changed specification for the MT 10.

Former member MyPal made the enquiries & it was not feasible. It's not about the platter. It's about the tonearm clearance spaces relative to the platter & locator placement. Ivan has the feedback for this from ClearAudio & should chime in so that members have the right information & do not purchase something they cannot use.

Do not buy this product for the MT10.

This idea was considered by ClearAudio, but eventually deemed not financially feasible based on the small demand for the product.

Do not buy this product for the MT10.
If somebody is intereted I can take some meditions, the outer ring needs free space to plug ande remove limiting the number of tonearm choices.
