I'm on the fense. I agree with you and when my audiogon ad expires I may not post them again. I think I'm going to go hook them up for fun right now.

The original Cremona 3 way speakers have more expensive drivers and crossover components then the new M version. To me they also sound better then the new ones. New does not always equate with better, sometimes new is made on purpose for a higher profit margin . Nobody is forcing you to sell them that cheap so why do it unless you really need the cash immediately.

Not really the kind of conversation I wanted to have in a forum. Oh well, I appreciate your concern. Did I say I wanted the new Cremona's? I do not need the cash, but I also do not need these speakers. Why would anyone hold on to something that they don't need or want? I'm not a collector.

Since you don't need the cash and don't want the speaker's I'll give you my address and you can ship them to me. I'll be sure to write a review!

Rilands.......Good speakers are always hard to part with. Even when you have no need for them any longer, in the back of your mind you are still looking for a place you can still use them. I have been through this exercise more than once.

I disagree.

No company will create a lower quality product just for money. It will "kill" her in the long run.
Every company needs money, but in order to last they also need to improve.
In my opinion the Cremona M is better than the previous model in every way.

Cheers,

Dan,
Kinda true. Now if I only had an extra pair of 501's laying around & the wife would let me have that formal living room that nobody ever uses.

crytklmass,
I guess that did sound bad. What I really meant to say was, it's not a 911. I can always use the cash for some other piece of equipment or tweak that I probably don't need. but want. Sorry, they won't be shipping to your home anytime soon.

You really limit your potential buyers by not shipping and not accepting paypal. When I purchased my Cremona's from
Audiogon they shipped from Oregon to Connecticut via UPS(united package smashers)without problem. The Sonus faber boxes and packing are very sturdy.

You are 100% correct. Unfortunately I don't have the boxes and I've stated that in my ad. Maybe I should buy some SF boxes and open it up the whole U.S. I could raise the price then too and probably get more. I do accept paypal. Did I say I don't? I better check that. THanks!
