I'd rather stay far from those cause I think my pencil could write the check alone ! and after that I would realize that they could not go at the second floor of the house....

While having coffee, Howie and me did discussed briefly about the Tannoy Westminster and from what I gather, Bro is really impressed. Me too! If I had not been "shackled", I might just go for this one, .. and build a new system from there.

The NEW Avantgarde Duo Grosso G2 + their own integrated amp, Model 3 would be an alternative great combo too. Yes, I am looking, looking around. Nothing made up as yet.

Now, that makes 4 ..... Wilson Sasha's, Maxx 3, Tannoy Westminsters SE & Avantgarde Duo Grosso!

Cheers!

Jerry, be sure your room will support the Westminsters. Based on the review I read, you should have at least 30ft long room for them. I would imagine 18x30 would just do.

Yes, I understand! For sure, I dont think I have 30 feet long room for them. So, scratch this out.

Anyway, these days, I tried not to be too involved in hifi lest the "itch" starts and there is certainly no cure around to stop it!

Cheers!

Very interesting , humm as i am a Tannoy user/ lover myself ... well im biased as i'm a supplier to Tannoy ,that aside ... they have never taken off in North America { audiophile consumer market } commercial is alot better ,
My point is Why ??

Does the European or Asain Ear look for something different than we do in North America ? ...

WE like our Cars with Cubic Inches whereas the ROTW not so much ? { lol this from a Viper Owner} go figure !
