Stillpoints Ultra Mini Review

Mike.......Although a bit more expensive than the Symbosium Rollerblocks, the Stillpoints Ultra Minis under my Esoteric K-03 raised the performance bar beyond the improvements the Rollerblock Jr's offered.

Once I complete the return transaction for the amps that did not work out for me, I'm going to try these Stillpoints Ultra Minis for my K-03.

The Ultra Minis will be my next indulgence. "Olskool" happened to bring some Ultra SS's over last week and we tried them under the power supply for my Lumin S1. I was surprised that the difference was so instantly noticeable. We did not have the time to listen for very long and we were under time constraints, so I can't say that we made any determination regarding improvements. But, there was a noticeable difference in detail.

I'm looking forward to experimenting with them under the Lumin as well as the power supply.

Is there a resource for this? Because I'm going to want Stillpoints under my Tannoy speakers at some point. I tried emailing my retail sales rep and he couldn't find out. We both tried emailing Stillpoints and got no answer. Frustrated in Santa Fe.

What model Tannoy speaker do you have? We would likely have to research the thread size/pitch of the threaded insert of the speaker. Some mfgrs are reluctant to give up this info. If you have access, I suggest using a thread pitch gauge on one of the OEM feet to determine size. We likely already make a adapter that will work.
