Welcome Bodhi!

I did actually consider a Rowland Capri (though hadn't thought about a Corus), but instead I pulled the trigger on a W4S STP-SE... and I'm glad I did because what a wonderful pre-amp it is! It just lays it all out there for me to examine... totally focused, nothing missing, gobs of oomph, ZERO noise (which is a biggy for me). Not much of a looker, but boy does she sing a sweet, sweet tune!

Cheers

Todd,

Surprised you didn't go for a tube preamp for your Sanders.

I'm still looking.

Classe' CP-800. It's new and just starting to get reviewed in the mags (a review of it is apparently coming out in September in Stereophile). So far - rave reviews and I will add my highest praises to those reviews as well. I just bought mine and it's amazing. Google it, read some of the reviews and give it a listen. Like you, I just went through all the research for a new preamp.
